Expansive glazing arranged around panels that slide sideways. Sliding windows frame wider views, bring the landscape closer and create generous openings.
In a home with generous openings, glass changes the way space is experienced. Sliding glazed assemblies make room for wide glass areas and maintain a clear view of the garden or terrace. The panels move sideways, allowing the opening to be used without taking up space indoors. Panel proportions, the position of the moving leaf and the home's orientation all shape the result. Glazing becomes part of the façade without dominating its proportions.

Fixed and moving panels shape the view.
In a large sliding glazed assembly, not every panel needs to move. Fixed glazing can preserve a wide view outdoors, while sliding leaves provide the required opening. Their arrangement affects the visible lines of the frames and the way the façade is perceived from inside. A considered layout responds to the building's orientation, the landscape and the circulation routes near the glazing.

The moving leaf is lifted onto its rollers before sliding.
In the MB-82HS system, the moving panel does not simply slide along its track. Operating the handle first lifts the leaf onto its rollers, allowing it to move sideways. When closing, it lowers onto the sealing gaskets. This arrangement supports large glazed surfaces with fixed and moving sections in the same assembly. The frame, threshold and drainage must be coordinated with the architecture and installation conditions.

Viewed from indoors, sliding glazed assemblies can change the visual proportions of a room. Fixed panels maintain broad transparent surfaces, while moving leaves allow access to the terrace or garden. For a coherent result, the glazing layout needs to be coordinated with the building structure, façade orientation and the way the space is used. The appropriate sliding system is then selected according to the dimensions and technical requirements of the project.
